No you were singled out as a misogynist because your lyrics look like this:
Punch a bitch in the nose til her whole face explodes There’s three things I hate Girls, women and bitches I’m that vicious to walk up and drop-kick midgets (…) Coming through the airport Sluggish, walking on crutches Hit a fucking pregnant bitch in her stomach with luggage

Sorry. I have to agree with him. I feel like misogyny is misogyny. I don’t feel like there are degrees of misogyny. It’s either misogynistic or it’s not.
America is misogynistic.. and that manifests itself throughout hip hop from lyrics to which rappers get deals.  Now if your thing is ridding America of misogyny, I don’t think he’s your major threat (especially with the GOP literally changing laws concerning my uterus) but do your thing. However, I feel like people act like he does something worse than what’s already out there in music and I simply don’t think that’s true.
The same people who talk about Eminem being sooo misogynistic and homophobic will reblog a N.W.A. photo from me and that’s very weird to me. I think one of the most misogynistic, homophobic artists I’ve ever heard is Ice Cube.
And I just wanted to also point out that these lyrics come from a song that features Missy Elliot (produced by Timbaland).

I mean as a Biggie fan Gimme the Loot has a lyric about him robbing and kicking or punching a pregnant chick in the stomach. It’s in most rap you just steamroll past it and say if you hear too much you’re jumping ship. It’s hard being a rap fan and a feminist.

^It do be! It’s like being Beyonce in a song that features a verse from Jay-Z.
And I been thinking about it… Eminem isn’t being singled out cause he’s white… he’s being singled out because he talks about victimizing white women.
It’s like this… as long as the rapper (or singer.. cause we can throw the Robin Thicke thing in here too) is Black and his presumed victims of his violence in the song are Black, barely anyone notices or cares.
But as soon as the rapper/singer is White.. and the presumed victims are white, then people turn their ears on.
Maybe these controversies are just another subvert message about how no one gives a fuck about Black women.

Um just want to point out “it’s hard being a rap fan and a feminist” is kinda racist. Robin Thicke is the only woman-hater in pop. Every genre of music is chock full of misogyny. Please do not single out the one that just so happens to be composed mostly of black artists.

Replace “feminism” with “Jesus” and see what happens

fnnjones:

womenagainstfeminism:

"I need feminism because my chicken mcnuggets are cold.”
"I need Jesus because my chicken mcnuggets are cold.”

Feminism often sounds like a religion. (Nothing against religion, I’m religious, but feminism is not honest about it.)

LITERALLY WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT

okcgoldmine vs creepshots

weeaboo-chan:

stewardish:

stewardish:

A comparison of two tumblr blogs: creepshots and okcgoldmine.

—okcgoldmine: re-posts photos of men; photos were taken with men’s permission and posted personally by the men on a public web page
—creepshots: posts photos of women taken without the women’s knowledge or consent.

—okcgoldmine: has no ads
—creepshots: has ads

—okcgoldmine: uses tags that come directly from the words written by the men and posted by them at okcupid. Examples: jack of all trades, devil’s advocate, men’s rights, everything but rap.
—creepshots: typical tags are: upskirt, phat, booty, hungryass, boobs.

—okcgoldmine: sometimes adds humorous text, such as “Boy you must be the sun because you need to stay 93 million miles away from me.” But most posts have text written by the men themselves and posted by them on a public web page. (x)
—creepshots: adds text such as "I caught these two mamacitas suntanning with their asses out while enjoying a Carribean cruise in Dec. 2009. They were totally asleep and unaware of my camera work. They may possibly be the hottest daughter-mother pair I’ve ever seen in one shot." I would have to agree. I don’t think I can easily choose who has the better ass. Very nice creep work.—creepshots editor (x)

—okcgoldmine: taken down by tumblr in May, 2013
—creepshots: just fine with tumblr. jfc it’s all in fun u need to get a sense of humor.

reblogging because 7 months later creepshots on tumblr is still up and okcgoldmine is still down. summary:

poking fun at men: TUMBLR TAKES DOWN YOUR BLOG

posting photos of women without their consent and calling them sluts: THAT’S OK WITH TUMBLR

ARE YOU KIDDING ME

what the FUCK I’m gone for five months and creepshots is STILL AROUND WITH THE SAME URL???
